As usual on Wednesdays, today Toro sustained two training sessions on the Centro Sisport pitch, one in the morning and one in the early afternoon. Alberto Zaccheroni has the entire roster at his disposal and will test his players on Thursday in the midweek friendly.

In view of the match against Atalanta, the Granata coach has a difficult decision to make: who will replace suspended Roberto Stellone? The most likely option is represented by Elvis Abbruscato, while the rest of the starting eleven should be the same who did so well in last Sunday's win over Sampdoria. On paper, however, Atalanta coach Colantuono should be more concerned than his colleague, as the judge banned four Orobici players: defender Adriano, midfielder Donati, forward Doni and striker Zampagna.

Before the start of today's session, defender Ivan Franceschini spoke with the press and his words confirmed how different is the mood inside Toro's locker room following Sunday's much-needed victory. "The determination we showed against Sampdoria must be a starting point for us" Franceschini said, "week after week we are learning what the coach wants and this is fundamental. Maybe someone still has to reach his best shape, but everybody here wants to give his best for Toro. I'm sure that the positive results will give us a big helping hand and restore the confidence we missed in the previous matches".
