Second straight day of rest for Toro: the players will resume training tomorrow afternoon at the Centro Sisport in view of the key match against Chievo, which will take place on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico.

The last session took place on Saturday with a training match against the Primavera: the final result was 7-1 for the first team and the goals were scored by Oguro, Fiore (two apiece), Abbruscato, Doudou and Lazetic. The Japanese striker was fielded in the starting eleven, and taking into account the nice words that Zaccheroni spent for him last week it's possible (or even probable) that we'll see him in the starting lineup against Chievo. Zaccheroni also tested the 3-men defensive line, with Cioffi (who has yet to make his season debut) alongside Di Loreto and Franceschini, but this change is much more unlikely, as it requires a few more tests.

After the final whistle there was a long chat between Cairo and Zaccheroni, who talked for more than one hour. The content is unknown, but the Granata chairman promised that he would have spent the week as close as possible to the team and surely renewed his confidence in the experienced coach, as he already did in front of the press in the previous days.
