Torino-Siena: the reactions

Despite the second defeat in a row, Alberto Zaccheroni is still confident and believes that soon Toro will bounce back. "I can't say that I'm happy, one point in three matches is not much and I certainly hoped to collect something more, but I always said that it takes time to find the right chemistry. Against Siena, just like we did in the other matches, we played well only in one of the two halves. In the first 45 minutes we were simply awful, while our opponents didn't make a single mistake, but in the second we totally outplayed them: the difference is that they managed to score two goals. Anyway I'm still confident, despite that first half: it seemed that the pitch was too tight for our play. In the second half we were much more aggressive, but unfortunately we didn't score. We must be more determinate in front of the opponents' net, because we always have our chances. And please don't blame Abbiati for his mistake: I know him very well, and I'm sure that he'll react properly and give us what he's capable of. Remember, even last season with Juve he didn't start well, but afterwards he was great".

Just like their coach, the players don't seem to have lost their confidence. As usual, Roberto Muzzi spoke as a real leader is supposed to, and his words must sound as a major boost for the fans. "It's not the time to look at the table" he said today, "we're working hard in order to become a good team, but we must be aware that our first goal is the save. Torino has a great coach, so just let him work: by our side, I can guarantee that we'll sweat as much as possible on the training pitch. We still make to many mistakes, but if we stay humble and follow what Zaccheroni says I'm sure that we'll get out of it. Believe me, there are 29 players in the roster and everyone is with him, I've never seen anything like that".
