Wednesday evening's defeat against Roma didn't leave any negative trace inside Toro's camp: on the contrary the Granata, who already resumed training in view of Saturday's trip to Livorno, are definitely satisfied with the unlucky performance against the Giallorossi and look strongly determined to bounce back with a positive result on a difficult pitch like the "Armando Picchi".
"I'm not disappointed with this defeat" coach Alberto Zaccheroni said, "of course I'm never happy after losing a match, but I couldn't ask my players for more, considering that we played most of the match one man down. I only wish my team played in 11 against 11 for 90 minutes against such a great opponent, because in the first minutes they surely didn't dominate us. And furthermore we missed many regulars".
Midfielder Andrea Ardito, the best Granata on the pitch together with Rosina, echoed his coach's words: "It hurts losing like this: until Franceschini's ejection Toro and Roma played on the same level. The referee didn't help us, that's for sure…".
Finally, the immense Alessandro Rosina: once again, the diminutive forward showed all of his class and even managed to score his third straight goal, although his last-minute header was useless. However, this defeat gives us more determination in view of Saturday's match: we'll play for the win, even though Livorno are a very solid team".
