"In his first three matches on Toro's bench, Alberto Zaccheroni has already made many tactical changes in order to find the right chemistry, but as everybody knows the results have been quite disappointing. After testing both the 4-2-3-1 and the 4-4-2 formation, the former Milan and Lazio coach could now make another change in view of Sunday's match against Reggina, strengthening the midfield by including in the starting lineup Fabio Gallo.

"In this case, Gallo would play alongside De Ascentis and Barone, while the advanced line could be formed by only two offensive midfielders (probably Fiore and Rosina, but Lazetic and Konan are in contention as well) with Muzzi or Abbruscato upfront, thus forming the so-called "Christmas tree" formation (4-3-2-1).

"The picture will be clearer tomorrow, but it's pretty clear that Zaccheroni's main concern is to protect a defensive line which has been really struggling so far. Anyway both Franceschini and Di Loreto are expected to be confirmed in the middle, even though many fans ask "Zac" to give Brevi and Cioffi a chance, while Balestri will likely replace Pancaro on the left.

"Good news from Roberto Stellone: the Roman striker, who was forced to leave the pitch on Wednesday with a knee injury, joined today's training session, even if just for a few minutes of jogging: however, it seems that his problem is not as bad as expected. Most likely, he will be available for next week's home clash with Lazio. Nobody else on the sidelines: the troops are healthy and hopefully ready to collect the first win of the season.

"Finally, the eternal Filadelfia issue: this morning, a group of Granata fans handed Torino's sports alderman Montabone a petition with more than 1300 signatures asking for warranties on our temple's future. Montabone said that the Municipality is willing to invest 7 million Euros for the reconstruction, but now expect other subjects to give their availability for a brand new project. The first of these subjects is obviously Torino FC: the club must guarantee the future utilization of the new structure, most likely for the first team's training sessions and for the youth teams' matches. Otherwise, the area will be utilized to build a "Park of the Memory" with the club's new headquarters as well as a Toro museum.
